Diagnostic inspection questions

Why is there a diagnostic inspection fee?

A diagnostic inspection fee covers the professional service of attending, checking, testing and identifying the issue before repairs or project scope are confirmed.

It is not simply a charge for arriving. It covers time, tools, assessment and technical diagnosis.

Is the diagnostic fee the same as a repair fee?

No. The diagnostic inspection fee covers inspection and diagnosis only. Repairs, parts, materials or additional labour are quoted separately unless expressly included in writing.

Do I need to pay before dispatch?

In some cases, yes. Diagnostic inspections, emergency callouts, after-hours work, travel or service fees may require payment confirmation before dispatch.

What payment methods are available?

Payment may be accepted by approved online payment method, EFT, Yoco, card machine or another method confirmed by Electroshape.

Do you have a Yoco card machine?

Yes. Yoco/card machine payment support may be available for eligible callouts, inspections, repairs or onsite payments.

Do repairs or parts need to be paid upfront?

In many cases, yes. Approved repair work, parts, materials or additional labour may require upfront payment before work begins.

Do you offer emergency or after-hours support?

After-hours or emergency support may be available depending on the issue, technician availability, location, safety risk and urgency.

How fast can Electroshape respond?

Response times vary depending on demand, traffic, weather, technician availability, prior bookings, job type and the nature of the emergency.

Are emergency rates different?

Yes. Emergency inspections, after-hours diagnostics, labour, travel or repair work may be charged at different rates from standard daytime work.
